Fitness nutrition is the placement of calories and macronutrients in relation to your fitness goals. Just as in exercise, different amounts will equate to different results. Fitness nutrition can help you understand the energy needs of your body, macronutrients (and how to use them), micronutrients, proper hydration, healthy snacking and more.
Another component of fitness nutrition is nutrient timing. When you eat, and what you eat, will have an effect on your body's ability to burn fat and build lean tissue.
"We are what we eat." This is why I choose to consume as much organic and chemical free foods (the original food) as possible to keep my engine running lean and clean. Food has a huge impact on how we look and feel. Avoiding foods that contain metabolic and health disrupting chemicals can boost your fitness results as well as overall health.
